The Delaware Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (DEVOAD) is the state counterpart to, and a member in good standing of, the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NVOAD). DEVOAD is an autonomous 501c3 non-profit organization with all the rights afforded thereto; however, as a member of the National VOAD it recognizes and complies with the policies and practices set forth in the membership agreement and policy documents of the National VOAD.
NEXT MEETING: The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Delaware Emergency Management Agency, 165 Brick Store Landing Rd., Smryna DE 19977. Lunch will be served.
NOTICE TO MEMBERS AND PARTNERS:
DEMA will be conducting a full scale Mass Care Exercise on August 12, 2017. The next planning meeting will be held at 10:00 am, June 14 at the Delaware Emergency Management Agency office complex. If your organization participates in mass feeding, spontaneous volunteer management, donations management or disaster housing, your participation is requested.
